I love the BG, but the soldier on it is a bit too "artsy". Looks like something from a comic book. Would you like to share the technique or do we have to discover it?

um.. i might make a tut on the background at some point. but what i basically did was create a blue background, drew some thick lines, smudge them like hell and applied the poster fillter and some texture fillters to it. then i just played about with certain settings untill i was happy with it
this is a bigger version. (the original concept was to have it as an animated gif, as i havnt really made any of those, but it didnt work. btw "weekend warrior" is my name in css, hence the name in red )
and this is the pic i used for the sas guy. its part of a painting that i was so impressed with that i decided to make this

i would give it a go, but i've missplaced the .psd. i'll give it a go once i find the thing :angry:
