Eh well you're new to all of this so I'll give you some crit. We'll go step-by-step.

If you save your images in .jpg format always remember to save them in max quality.

I recommend you save in .png format next time. PNG images have better quality and are in fair sizes.

It's good that you're using tutorials. The sig you have here is pretty simple.
I recommend you check out some of the tutorials in the signature tutorial section of this forum.

And don't stay too long on sigs. After you feel a bit more comfortable with photoshop, move on to making bigger pieces in digital art. You'll progress a lot differently that way.

I'm not sure I know how to do a render. If I am thinking of the same thing as you are meaning. I really am a n00b. I don't know any technical terms for things and PSP is really easy to use. Like if I cut out an image, paste it into another open file, I can move what I pasted around with a tool. But when I try that in PS CS2 I can't move the item I pasted in.

Well you said that you're pretty unfamiliar with a lot of the technical terms of photoshop. No worries. ^_^

Thanks everyone for being positive and helpful! I am working slowly to master the little things like a sig before trying wallpapers.
