xbox mod chip

i just finished installing a mod chip in my xbox but i dont see any difference to my xbox... i dont think the chip works. anyone have a mod ship installed in ur computer? i think i did everything correct but i donno. the chip ppl didnt send me a manual on how to install it . i had to search all over the net to find a decent guide.

for the chip? like $20 bucks i think without shipping. installing was very annoying. the circuts were too small and stuff lol. my head hurts now.

depends on what chip you install. most of them let you play any game (xbox version)/ movies downloaded and written on a dvd. some have different things which i donno about lol but thats wat mine does. no need to buy dvds for me lol. i can just write them.

i dont think there is something wrong with the chip. i think its because of my bad job at soldering .

i m buying a new modchip because the last one was junk . i broke it and threw it in the trash can. i m buying a solderless mod chip.

Well there is no law stating that mod chips are illegal in most countries. Its quite ambiguous, so in a sense, you aren't breaking the law until you play a copied game on the console.

I had a friend who messed up his Xbox really bad. Live didn't work and then it didn't turn on etc. He went through like 2 Xboxes before he gave up muah.
