I really like the bg and the colors and flow but the pokemon, not to be harsh, looks stupid.

I've seen a lot of sprite sigs around other forums lately.

This for a sprite sig it looks pretty good. Though since your sprite is yellow I think the flow of energy should be coming from it not the bottom of the sig.

Most sprite sigs don't blend the sprite into the bg. The just have the bg flow around it. Which is for a completely different look upon such work.

While most user's on most forums will judge this like a normal sig of blending renders into the bg this is more of make the bg work around the render.

Nice work, different still and think you've done well. It's a little big for the size of sprite and text needs work but got a good base to work off of. Maybe add a bit more depth.

Its from an sprite tut: http://chaosgfx.net/tuts/pokemon2/po...rite-tut-2.png
BG is supposed to be a electric radiant electromagnetig nuclear thunder fomr zapdos. Ill make another with another render. the lighting isnt coming from his feet cause there is a mass of energy in between which maintains the thunder away from zapdos otherwise it would fry itself

    Default Hmm

the style is nice.. the pokemon and title.. im afraid does not look good, i just despised the whole concept of pokemon all together, but thats my opinion.
other than that the background could go well with an abstract piece
