    "Polarized" by Carcass
    Don't want your number,
    Don't want your name,
    Don't want your colour...
    Don't want your politics,
    Don't want your cause,
    Don't believe what you believe...
Don't want your wear your embelm,
Don't want your cult or sect,
    Don't want your faith,
    Don't want your respect,
    Don't want your love,
    Don't want your praise,
    Don't want your stupid fashion,
    Don't want your phase...

Polarized- Tell me what colours do you wear?
    Your beliefs, polarized,
I JUST DON'T CARE FOR WHAT YOU CARE.

I JUST DON'T CARE FOR WHAT YOU CARE.

    "Our Hell" by Emily Haines
First one's room is hard to find
    We're paralyzed, we apologize
Our hell is a good life

Last one's won, where's my prize
    Under the lights
    Can we call it in
    We're on the road

    Can we stop
When we stop my back will turn
    Your face towards the fence

What if what it was it isn't now
What if what it was it isn't now

All this weight is on it's worse
    We're moderate, we modernize
Till our hell is a good life
Oh we know what to forget
    How to do right
    Coloring in the black hole

    Can we stop
When we stop my hands will shake
    My eyes will burn
    My throat will ache
    Watching you turn
    From me towards your friends

What if what it was it isn't now
What if what it was it isn't
    Punishment to stall, it's done
What if what was in was missing out
What if what it was it isn't now

There's a pattern in the system
There's a bullet in the gun
That's why I tried to save you
    But it can't be done
    It can't be done

    This song is pretty awesome.

    In Flames - Dead End

    Save all your prayers
    I think we lost today
    There's no morning after
And no one's around to blame

    I'm not afraid to bleed
But I won't do it for you
    We'll start among hypocrites
    The melody of our time

    [Chorus:]
So say goodbye to the world
We are the dead can't walk the earth
    Scream your lungs out
    Wait for laughter
You don't have to wait forever
    It's the next disaster!

What decides when you've lost the war
    When the first man falls?
Or when they erase it all?

    We're too numb to feel
    The downfall starts here
    Hold your breath and swim
    Swallowed my life's tear

    In times of make believe
No one really seems to care
    Maybe I should care less
    'Cause I will die too

    [Chorus:]
So say goodbye to the world
We are the dead can't walk the earth
    Scream your lungs out
    Wait for laughter
You don't have to wait forever
    It's the next disaster!

What will it take for us to realize
    The more we provoke
    Winter will come twice

    Save all your prayers
    I think we lost today
    There's no morning after
And no one's around to blame

    Scream you lungs out
    Wait for laughter
You don't have to wait for ever
    Here's the next disaster! [2x]

    Bike ~ Pink Floyd

    I've got a bike.
You can ride it if you like.
It's got a basket, a bell that rings,
and things to make it look good.
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, everything, if you want things.

    I've got a cloak, it's a bit of a joke.
There's a tear up the front, it's red and black,
    I've had it for months.
If you think it could look good then I guess it should.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything, everything, if you want things

I know a mouse and he hasn't got a house.
I don't know why I call him Gerald.
He's getting rather old but he's a good mouse.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, everything, if you want things.

I've got a clan of gingerbread men.
Here a man, there a man, lots of gingerbread men.
Take a couple if you wish, they're on the dish.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, everything, if you want things

I know a room of musical tunes.
Some rhyme, some ching, most of them are clockwork.

Let's go into the other room and make them work.

Silent Night, Bodom Night - Children of Bodom

    Lyrics:

On the eve of their doom
    they are baptized
in the unholy waters of Bodom
With no hint of the torture awaiting
to greet them at the break of dawn

When the calm is setting in
    we'll watch it swiftly disappear
    Too many years of silence
    soon he's bound to reappear

    The Reaper
is calling for you to come home
With the thrust of a switchblade
on the grip of a madman
    And the waters of Bodom
turn a blood shade of red
    As the Children Of Bodom
    Take their last breath.

When the calm is setting in
    we'll watch it swiftly disappear
    Too many years of silence
    soon he's bound to reappear

Nothig like The Mars Volta :P if you know how to interpret it

Roulette Dares - by - The Mars Volta

Transient jet lag ecto mimed bison
This is the haunt of roulette dares
    Ruse of metacarpi
Caveat emptor....to all that enter here
    Open wrists talk back again
In the wounded of its skin
    They'll pinprick the witness
    In ritual contrition
The am trinity fell upon asphyxia-derailed
    In the rattles of...
Made its way through the tracks
    Of a snail slouching whisper
A half mass comute through umbilical blisters
    Spector will lurk
    Radar has gathered
    Midnight nooses from boxcar cadavers
Exoskeletal junction at the railroad delayed
Exoskeletal junction at the railroad delayed
    It's because this is
    Cranial bleeding
    Leaches train the living
Cursed are they who speak its name
    Ruse of metacarpi
Caveat emptor to all that enter here
Exoskeletal junction at the railroad delayed
Exoskeletal junction at the railroad delayed
    It's because this is
    Ratteling the laughter

    Close To The Edge

    I. The Solid Time Of Change
    Anderson/Howe

A seasoned witch could call you from the depths of your disgrace,
And rearrange your liver to the solid mental grace,
And achieve it all with music that came quickly from afar,
Then taste the fruit of man recorded losing all against the hour.
And assessing points to nowhere, leading ev'ry single one.
A dewdrop can exalt us like the music of the sun,
And take away the plain in which we move,
And choose the course you're running.

Down at the edge, round by the corner,
Not right away, not right away.
Close to the edge, down by a river,
Not right away, not right away.

Crossed the line around the changes of the summer,
Reaching to call the color of the sky.
Passed around a moment clothed in mornings faster than we see.
Getting over all the time I had to worry,
Leaving all the changes far from far behind.
We relieve the tension only to find out the master's name.

Down at the end, round by the corner.
Close to the edge, just by a river.
    Seasons will pass you by.
I get up, I get down.
Now that it's all over and done,
Now that you find, now that you're whole.

    II. Total Mass Retain
    Anderson/Squire

My eyes convinced, eclipsed with the younger moon attained with love.
It changed as almost strained amidst clear manna from above.
I crucified my hate and held the word within my hand.
There's you, the time, the logic, or the reasons we don't understand.

Sad courage claimed the victims standing still for all to see,
As armoured movers took approach to overlook the sea.
There since the cord, the license, or the reasons we understood will be.

Down at the edge, close by a river.
Close to the edge, round by the corner.
Close to the end, down by the corner.
Down at the edge, round by the river.

Sudden call shouldn't take away the startled memory.
All in all, the journey takes you all the way.
As apart from any reality that you've ever seen and known.
Guessing problems only to deceive the mention,
Passing paths that climb halfway into the void.
As we cross from side to side, we hear the total mass retain.

Down at the edge, round by the corner.
Close to the end, down by a river.
    Seasons will pass you by.
I get up, I get down.

III. I Get Up, I Get Down
    Anderson/Howe

    In her white lace
You can clearly see the lady sadly looking.
Saying that she'd take the blame
For the crucifixion of her own domain.

I get up, I get down,
I get up, I get down.
    Two million people barely satisfy.
Two hundred women watch one woman cry, too late.
The eyes of honesty can achieve.
How many millions do we deceive each day?

[Thru the duty she would coil their said
amusement of her story asking only interest
could be laid upon the children of her domain]

I get up, I get down.
I get up, I get down.

In charge of who is there in charge of me.
Do I look on blindly and say I see the way?
The truth is written all along the page.
How old will I be before I come of age for you?
I get up, I get down.
I get up, I get down.
I get up, I get down.

    IV. Seasons Of Man
    Anderson/Howe

The time between the notes relates the color to the scenes.
A constant vogue of triumphs dislocate man, so it seems.
And space between the focus shape ascend knowledge of love.
As song and chance develop time, lost social temp'rance rules above.
    Ah, ah.

Then according to the man who showed his outstretched arm to space,
He turned around and pointed, revealing all the human race.
I shook my head and smiled a whisper, knowing all about the place.
On the hill we viewed the silence of the valley,
Called to witness cycles only of the past.
And we reach all this with movements in between the said remark.

Close to the edge, down by the river.
Down at the end, round by the corner.
    Seasons will pass you by,
Now that it's all over and done,
Called to the seed, right to the sun.
Now that you find, now that you're whole.
    Seasons will pass you by,
I get up, I get down.
I get up, I get down.
I get up, I get down.

    Kaleidoscope:
Did you know that most of Yes' lyrics are actually just rubbish put together in a very good way? The singer said that in some interview some time.. When they asked him what the songs was about he said that it was just beautiful words put together.

The Early November - A Bigger Meaning

[This brings us up to date. The reason why I am here. Well it's not long after we moved.
It's about three months. We found out we were going to have a baby. Unfortunately, not by choice.
It just happened. And I have no idea what to do. We don't have any money. We don't have much space.
We're 18 and on our own. You know? I came out here to get away, have a fresh start.
This makes it hard. You haven't said anything in a while. You're not even listening.]

    Yes I am.
Go ahead and sell me more.
Oh, yes I love to hear every word you say.
So let it out, don't let it stay.
'Cause that's what kills and that's what hurts.
When you're stuck inside and you can't get out.
    But here's what's worse:
When you have to lie because you're stuck inside this shallow mind.
That won't see himself for what he is.
The truth behind what he gives to the world and himself
And what he thinks he is.
You can't hurt anyone 'cause you only give.
    Oh, that's you.

[Not that's not me and I never said it was.
I bet you're saying this because you probably did the same thing with me.]

Oddly enough, I'm on my way.
Now see, it's natural to assume the worst when you're raised to only trust yourself.
But I must agree, you should know that you have been quite wrong.
Your dad is right, it's not his fault.
    You only see what you need to see to feel worse for your sorry life;
Not to fix it, but to only hide behind walls you put up.
So continue feeling bad for yourself, it's not your fault it's everyone else.
There's one thing you fail to see.
    You're a man, you're your father's son.
You both decided it was best to run
And now you're stuck being him.
So forget the plans you had for life,
It's time to learn it's time for people to try to look at things for what they are.
And not the best story line.
    The best story line...
    The best story line...
    The best story line...
    The best story line...
    The best story line...

[Hi, my name is Dean. I grew up in a small suburb town about 40 miles from the city.
It's a quiet place but people have the biggest mouths.
It's the kind of place where people care more about your stories
Than who you actually are. I guess that kind of makes sense when I look at myself.]
The last song in the last disc in their latest triple disc (!) album The Mother, The Mechanic, The Path. The last disc is a concept album that is a proof of that Arthur Enders is a genious. I just love it, it's some of the best stuff I have ever heard in my life.

yeah totally derek, em haines lyrics are some of my favourite. I would have chosen Nothing&Nowhere tbh

My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion - The Flaming Lips

    And though they were sad
    They rescued everyone
    They lifted up the sun
    A spoonful weighs a ton
    Giving more than they had
    The process had begun
    A million came from one
    The limits now were none
Being drunk on their plan, they lifted up the sun

Forcing it off with their hands
    The trapdoor came undone
    Above our heads it swung
    The privilege had been won
Being drunk on their plan, they lifted up the sun

Yelling as hard as they can
    The doubters all were stunned
    Heard louder than a gun
The sound they made was love
    During this song Wayne danced around the stage with a toy bird, awesome;
