the darker 1 cause the light 1 pulls ur eyes to the center where the light is and u dont really see the render as for the dark 1 ur eyes move straight to the render

Good call, I am partial to teh dark one aswell.
And i deff like the 300 x 75 size, it makes me concentrate more on detail
