    virute, I sometimes have a go when Im bored. I tend to use shift to get my lines straight, and for curved lines, i simply use alot of straights.

    Only problem is, you dont have the sensitivity of a tablet. If you get into it however, I'd recommend buying a wacom volito, you can pick em up for €40 here.

    minitut on blending:

    You can also use smudging for blending, or manually select the colours, but this is so easy when you get used to it. That tut took me like 2mins.. proof.

    Oh and also remember things like

    Shadows are desaturated slightly
    Light is very rarely white ( EXTREME highlights )
    Midtones are the most saturated
    Etc

    i obviously need to work on defining edges a lot better but I think it's a decent start for me. hopefully it's at least recognizable?

    Yeah thats sweet, you could try adding one of those little metal things, saying like ben sherman or whatever.

    For edges, either use eraser, or the colour you want + shift, to get straight edge.

    Don't be afraid of using light either jsoosiah. Go over the top with it.
    And then tone it down if needed
