Default My Latest Pop Art - "Love the Monkey"

jus in case u can't see the pic...

    http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/...e+-in%3Ascraps

I used a splatter brush for the art on the wall... and used the texturizer for the wall too... I kno it looks stupid to have a wall made from a filter... but its ok... PopArt can be forgiven in so many ways...

also i learned so many new things... and am proud to say everything except the monkey were all drawn from scratch... oh... and his Banana belongs to the Legendary Andy Warhol...

The monkey doesnt fit in at all. It needs a shadow and its in a different perspective than the walls. I would probably get rid of the grid too. The basic idea is cool though.

thnx Raiko... and Dragoneye and Rob will just have to do with "IT'S POPART"

Infact I've broken the first rule of PopArt by takin out the simplicity of it by putting all the detailes to it like Light, Texture and makin it 3D kinda looking...

But its my own style and "the Grid" was supposed to be halftone... like on a Comic... but it jus didnt come out so well...

anyways thnx for the comments... and Don't forget to Love the Monkey... and the Monkey loves you!

    hooray for monkey lovin'
love it but agree with rob; you should try and work on the halftone effect; it just doesn't look right.

^^^I've heard of that guy! Roy is da bomb!
It's really good. The monkey wouldn't have a visible shadow at this angle though if he's looking towards the light source, and the perspective of the monkey needs a little adjusting, unless it's leaning back.

Like you said though it's Pop Art. Try what nightfire UK said and posterize the whole image and it might give it the comic effect.
