    Who here has Vista and have you got any problems with it?

    I got it earlier today been on it for a good few hours now and not noticed any problems, not eay to get used to at first but not noticed any performance problems or bugs. Just a bit different than im used to.

    I don't, and I won't for some time. Once any bugs are fixed with who knows how many patches I may consider it, when I have a minimum of 2 gigs of ram, despite what the recommended requirements are for the OS.

    Vista is still very early on. Just like when XP came out, no one used it. You have to wait for Microsoft to get feedback from users, so they change it in a way it suites peoples wants and needs.

    I'm not adopting it until:

    It has features I need, want or must have. (I do like the new look, but old software (i.e games) don't run so well)
    or
    XP becomes to old support current hardware and software.

    You might as well not get Vista for at least a few years Support for XP will last until 2014

    Vista is a memory hog from what i understand. My bro has 2gigs of RAM and the cpu usage runs @ 25% just when its idling. I hear it has a few bugs, but that will all be fixed in time because Microsofts motto is "Get it done right the 2nd time".
