    Default new stuff

yes still working on the portraits
    and other stuff as well
this is just the recent things i have drawn, im in a bit of a dip for drawing, so i really dont have much to show.

for the tree, i am planning to do a painting, its just a wip right now, ive done some more work on it since this scan so it looks a little bit more finished

the tree is alright. the portrait needs more shading under and on top of the eyes. otherwise its beautiful.

portrait is a lot more realistic, nice, but the face seems a bit wide or something...
love the tree, it's gonna be great.
scan it finished before you paint it!

Yeah, I think you do for a bit more shading, just to bring out some of the highlights in her skin. if that makes sense. Haha.. I know next to nothing about traditional art.

soft light is quite hard to draw, i prefer a hard side light but i was having a hard time just finding a forwardish face to draw :P , i think the problem youre having with this is that there isnt enough contrast, i really should switch to my drawing pencils, ive just been using mechanical pencils thus far. thanks though i acctually quite like that picture in your sig, good lighting, looks fun to draw, havent drawn a guy before. lol sorry, i went off on a bit of a rant there :P

if you want the picutre, let me know and i'd be more than happy to let you draw it. Infact, I'm excited to see what you could do with it. It's a high resolution, too.
