You can also install another os on the ps3, but not windows

Does anyone have a ps3 and 360?

I don't want a whole fanboy thread, but yeah. What do you thinkn of it, and how do you think it compares / does against the 360. Bearing in mind the fact that it's only been around for a month or so...and the 360 has had alot longer on the market.

ok i got the 360. and honestly i don´t feel i need a wii or ps3 now. i am not completely happy with the 360 since my favourite games got not fixed bugs. i don´t know much about the ps3, but i wonder how anybody can buy it while the 360 has so many good games out yet and is sold for about half the prize for equal/better performance. i´m not thinking you are not pro or not smart bevause you bought the ps3, but i really want to know what reasons made you do it. almost no exclusive games are left, recycled controller without force feedback etc etc

I see your point. And it's a very good one But the reasons for buying a ps3... for me. Well, i love the controller, i don't like the big x-box one too much. And i also prefer to play games single player ( with people round playing it with them ) rather then online. and x-box seems more about the online play and not single player. And... i'm not a fanboy, but i like sony products.

And for other people...Blu ray. Although it's not around in everyone's home yet. it will be... and ps3 is the cheapest blue ray player ( as far as i know )

Really, i should have waited 6 months until the games i wanted were out and the system was cheaper. But i just had to get one XD

PS3 is a great system and i love that it is running linux and is very customizable... even more then the 360. But I dont want to spend the extra money of buying the PS3 because I would never use the Blue ray. Also the 360 is getting almost every game that the ps3 is. + X-box has halo!

Im gonna get one this summer. I heard they have some exclusives coming, plus its a cheap blu-ray player. I have a 360 right now though and I love it.

The price has dropped already i believe, although i haven't checked yet. I'll look later.

But yeah... the blue ray makes it fairly "future proof"

mmmm i didnt kno wat to get a ps3 or a 360 i was goin to get the ps3 but deni saw d price den looked at wat games they had they basicly got same games and 360 has basicly same graphix and even kno ps3 has more memory 360 u will be able to put more in it......
but i think im gonna get the ps3 cuase i got the ps2 so i can play my old games to and cuase it has blue ray
