    Default Blood Diamond

I've been waiting to do this since I saw the movie for the first time:

    A small photomanip from http://www.fireandsafety.eku.edu/VFR...allFlame-1.jpg and http://media.outnow.ch/Movies/Images...ovie.fs/02.jpg

Dunno what else to do to it though - any tips?

    Alright:
I cut out the render (obviously), and roughly lay them out:
Render, Explosion, then building in the background.
Then I went to make a layer mask around the render, and tried to make it as realistic as possible with the overlay - I made an overlay of brushes on each side with red, yellow and orange to make the lighting look good.
Erm... Oh yeah, I set the explosion to lighten later, and made a layer in between it and the building to include parts of the explosion I liked.
So yeah - that's what I did. Did I get the lighting ok? Or would an explosion have to get more lighting on him?

bit too much yellow. makes it look overbrightened, and harder to look at, know what I mean?

I know exactly what you mean with not being able to look at it too well - so darken it a bit? Or what did you have in mind? xD

I had some of the same issues with my Blood Diamond sig.

It kinda is a bit too yellow; try darkening down a few areas of the fire, mainly on the right. I dunno if he would have too much more lighting on him or not, though.

and dont pay too much attention to my version; it blows ass.

I agree with those before me, a little too much yellow.

I'd try something different with the text too.

But great job mixing the two images together!
