    Oh i see... I was picturing more of a desperation type feel. Like there was some kind of hurricane and she was running away... but people see things differently

    I used that exact same stock of the desert for one of my pictures XD
    Did you search Desert on google like I did :P

    V 2 is better for me, but the blending is tricky on this. you did an awesome job judging by the stock, but it just doesnt click for me

    definitely. don't darken that though, add lighting so it makes sense.

    i'm thinking the adj layers aren't helping, may be worsening it, which ones are you using? always compare it back to the original, make sure you didn't go overboard

    The background looks great - it's just her face I'm having probs with - and I did add lots of lighting to the background x.x
