First ever vector sig

This is the first time i have ever vectored anything so it might not be as good as some others I've seen. Anyways i followed the .god. tut on vectoring and got this result:

anyway, your vectoring technique is pretty good for a first, but the colors need a lot of work. just compare your colors to .god's and take notice of the differences. your sig looks flat overall, while his has depth (which is what you usually want to aim for). make the colors less saturated and don't make the background the same color as his face. face could use more levels shading as well.

the green triangle on the left looks silly, but the rest looks good for a first attempt. try adding some low opacity highlights/shadows to the face to give it some depth.
