oh cool, theres a guy who used to go here, ach i forget his name. but he did a similar thing with pictures of women. not sure im sold on the colour of the purple, or all the detail lost in the face, but the effect you went for is cool. maybe tone it down just a tad.

    You Are 66% Evil

You are very evil. And you're too evil to care.
Those who love you probably also fear you. A lot.

no it was someone from before your time. ryzee i think.

its not that people dont use purple much, its that i dont think it works so well this time. maybe invert the particles, purple on the outside, light on the inside.

Eh.. I was experimenting with the pen tool.. Was trying to get it to wrap around her some sort of way.. Yeah, details not the greatest, but I wanted her to "glow" a bit.. Plus, this was before I dabbled in blending..

    Thanks for the comments..

cool idea, but it needs some work.
you lost a lot of detail like undertone said, in the face, and it could use some more coloring.

To be honest.... it hurts my eyes. It's like staring into the sun... It's really bright, and her face has lost most or all of the details.
If I want to say something that I like about it, it has to be how her hair looks at the top of her head, but apart from that, I have to say I don't like it very much.
Maybe tone it down a bit, get a bit more color in and keep her face...

Yea I agree. Its just a tad too bright, and like said you lost detail :P
I'm gonna guess you did at atleast one point -Gaussian blurr, than set it to lighten blending mode.
Well anywho if you did you could erase parts of that layer to preserve most of the details in her face
