This took me about 45 mins to colour. As you can see there's not much detail on it.. but i'm pleased with the overall result ( especially for my first attempt at colouring :P )

What do you think? More detail needed?

I didn't draw the sketch.. i can only draw like that if i spend ages on it. Nah we English aren't that crazy. It's just what the file was called from the Ff site i got it on.

Well it's not really hard. Just takes a while to select all of the bits, with the polygon lasoo tool. Then colour.. etc. But it's worth it in the end. Thanks for the good comments guys ^.^

    Well .. in this picture

    There is:

A layer for the dark lumps
The lines - basically the picture
    The skin
    The eye
    The toe nails
    Shading
    Highlights
    Background
    Text
    Text

Each layer one has one colour on it. Except fr bg, and eye. Shading uses black ( 40% opacity ) with a paintbrush

    I just google searched

    FInal Fantasy Concept Art

And it was named 'lizard' , the shading. All i done was draw a dot in the corner, so i can remember where the light comes from.

I think it's not the best sketch to color, since the lines isn't that massive, there is a few fadings, but I think that you have done quite a good job on this one, the ony thing is the edges, and that's the sketch, not your coloring ^^ keep the good work up!
