My first sig. Please check out!

I just got cs3 today, and i was playing around with it. I was lookin at various tuts, for around 2 hours. and made this in around 1 hour. i dont think it looks that bad. please comment and rate outta 10. much appreciated.

very good if its your first sig you've ever made, i would say make the text a little better by blending it in with the background and try and blend the face a little more and it would be a pretty good sig. 6.8/10

I am having a hard time believing that this is your first tag.

That being said, the stock is too big. It would be better if you could see part of her body to help establish the flow and perspective of the tag. Adding effects would be much easier at that point. I also think the stock should be more centered.
