    Default Practise

Postprocessing practise from an old photo when I used to shoot jpg, so no hdr, but tried to slightly replicate the effect.

Looks good, but you have lost some information here and there. The building in the upper left corner had more detail. That thingy on the wall to the far right is also gone. Good job though!

    Ah yeah, ill fix those

Also brought in the tree on the left.
I quite like the technique ive developed, although pretty simple its just quite clean with little distortion (noise wise), unlike some techniques. Its a mix of channel mixes on monotone, multiply technique, etc, but then with the original layer brought back in through colour. It saves a lot of tedious work, and quality than working with the colours in there themselves.

You look like a homeless guy in the first one, haha. Multiply technique, no? Looks pretty Joey Lawrence-ish.

    Yeahhh
    they were really fun
basically I fucked myself up in the first
and tried to get myself back a bit in the second
so its like photo touch, and retouch hahaha

but yeah, multiply and manual dodge/burn (really good on old people, can bring out pores, wrinkles, etc)
and mixes of channel mixer (monotone)

for the first photo i like the second edit better, excellent lighting and great colors.
the upper left building is a little dark, but doesn't take much away from the picture.
the 2 of you are incredible, they look like stills from Lord of the Rings. Great editing style.
