I'm kinda of getting mixxed feelings about this one. Firstly, The way the soldier matches the background is good in my eyes, but the background seems a little blurry, and the soldier seems a bit more defined. That should be fixed, if that's not the look that you was going for. Also, with the lighting being sort of infront of the soldier in the background, why does it apear that all the rublle is coming for someplace in the foreground? also, the soldier's foregournd portion (part facing US) is lit evenly. I would guess if the blast is coming from infront of him, his from portion (gun, face, hands, etc) would be more lit than has back, which would be mostly shadowed. Also, I can tell that from the gun nozzle, you wan't a "shooting" type of effect... ehh, it also looks blurry, and isn't the right color for gun fire. That looks more like its smokin a blunt. Overall, its a great idea for the sig, it's just the technical stuff that you ran into all of your problems. Fix that, and it would be a good sig.

    Thanks ToneZ.
The background is on a slight blur, i felt it added a feeling of depth to the foreground.

Lighting was hard, since the actual image is all the same color, it doesn't really any clue to lighting other than maybe the barrel in the background, so i kinda went with that. maybe it's kinda sundown and the sun is hitting it straight on.

I tried to make the front of the soldier a little lighter and the rear a little darker, but i guess it didn't quite come out that way.
It's hard to tell with monitor, when I look at stuff at my monitor at home (which is way better than the work 1) stuff generally looks brighter.

As far as the blast, lol, not sure where I wanted it to come from

I'll try and tweak it a bit.
    Thanks for the comments.

I think V2 is much better. Actually i think the things you changed fit the sig. So, nice work.
