Okay i will point out some things i think you need to try again.
1. The text is very big, and a clumsy font, it gets to much focus. try a default font.
2. second the bg seems to be kinda flat and boring just looks like a falg try to add some more to it.
3. you have some nice vector brushes there but i dont think they match a warrior like william walace.
4 he seems to be overshapened
5 the light seems to be very hard. did you remember to make it a soft brush?
I would recommend you to try out some tutorials in the section here on the void. Just to get som hang on the bg making.
