Decent avatar. Too blurry though.

For the signature:
- Text is to big and blurry. text should be only a add on, not the main focal.
- the render is to blurry.
- the bg is almost not visible, and a bit boring. try making a different bg and sharpen up the render.

but a nice try keep on making things^^

Well firstly I use Fireworks MX as I dont have PSP or PS or anything like that :P

I had to make the render blurry unfortunatly to stop it looking like I pasted it on to there, Ill mess about with the background because atm its, Black BGround with Black Oil Splatters, to help Merge the render, Ill give the BGround abit of a tweak and the text Ill try something with it, but the actuall render there isnt much I can do unfortunatly

Hmm... I see. Fireworks is a program that comes with Dreamweaver? But looking forward to seeing the edited version

I got the whole Macromedia Package, Fireworks MX, Flash MX, Dreamweaver MX, Freehand 10


Anyway heres the Edit'd Version what do you guys think now?

It's a tad bit dark. If it was a bit lighter it'd be easier to see some of it so I would suggest lighting it up with a crurves or levels.

Like said before text should blend more with your sig, and the less noticable the better.
A few rules to follow when working on text:
1. Keep the text small, chances are it will make it blend in more and attract less attention (which beleive it or not is the goal
2. Stick to the defaults! they will blend and work better with your sig than any other downloaded font.
3. Don't blur. If you keep it sharp it will blend in better i promise. The eye constantly tries to focus things that are unfocused so your eyes will be fixed on the blurred text.
4. finally don't use blending option, no outer glow no bevel and emboss, no drop shadow. They work out a lot better without it, and it'll blend more.

I suggest reading dark method's guide to text.

Your blending on this render is actually pretty good. However you need to work on your BG(background). RIght now it's black so smudge using a scattering smudge or something to create a BG.
Take a couple tries at it, if it doesn't work out try a few tutorials, if you want PM me or AIM me or MSN me I can reccomend a ton of great tuts for you to try.

Well Like I said Im using Firework MX, which has slighty less options that PSP, Ill do some more work on the BGround, as for the text on the Edit'd Version I think its a bit to White so I might make the Opacity lower or change the color stand by for another edited version :P

I like the edited version much better... still, the text is too visible.

And heres the Second Edit, I dislike the BGround on this one but Prefer the text, But What do I know :P
