Battlefield 1942

BF2 is cool, but trust me, you can have much more fun playing the original Battlefield games. Battlefield 1942 has a shitload of kickass mods. The Desert Combat mod is my favorite. It is modern combat, like Battlefield 2. Except its more fun . There is also Vietnam mods like EveOfDestruction, which is also kickass. Then, there is crazy ass stunt mods that are the SHIT. But no1 ever plays them online, lol.

Also, you dont have to soup up ur PC (like I did) to play BF1942. It runs on the older PC's, and the graphics are pretty good (especially with a vid card).

Get Bf2, but also get Bf1942 when u get a chance. I HIGHLY recommend it.

krazy is right on the point. You cant judge battlefield 1942 if you havent had the pleasure of playing it. Its kinda like halo, the first one was THE BEST and then the world turned upsidedown and halo 2 didnt meet expectaions, but alot of ppl still like it. Im not saying battlefield 2 sucks but battlefield 1942 should get more credit.
