yea...they are my FIRST photomanips. If you insist i tell you i used the smart blur (whic is really easy to use) and the cutout filters. Ive never done something like this before. I usually do stuff like in my sig with brushing, pen-tool and whatnot.

That isn't really photo manipulation. Photo manipulation isn't just taking something and improving/changing how it looks, you must change the idea somehow. For example, heres something I've done recently click
You have to change the idea of the subject for it to be considered manipulation or else, typically, its just retouching/basic editing. Its best to stay away from filters because they are typically cheesy effects and theyre easy to point out. There isn't much creativity put into something when its done using filters. Try making lineart on your own with the pen tool

they are pretty basic but i'm not that great at photomanips either so just keep working on them, try using different things
