Yeah your probably right. Like I said never cared enough to look into the PS pen tool to see if it really was a vector layer or a fake(oh my). Since at this point people stop caring what you used to do them, since PS does just as good a faking them as AI does doing them for real. Though AI has a much better pen tool XD.

I'm used to photoshop's pen tool. I find handling selections to be easier to deal with than a shape defined by points. You can tell if its done in PS or AI pretty easily though. Better to stick with AI for resizing purposes
