Well, here is my entry for SOTW 8. I thaught id post it up here in the showcase to get some comments on it.

I love it!!! Did you do the text yourself?? I think its great!! If i was to rate it i would probably rate it about 9/10 because the text is slightly hard to read, but otherwise i think you cant go far off wrong with that! Well done.

The text was from a wallpaper that i found, I got rid of the background.
Yeh it is just a bit hard to read where it says "of the", i think the other bits are of the text a readable enough though.

so far in sotw i like urs the best. 9/10 lovin the render and text

Nice, I like that affect oyu have going on, of the oldness, it looks like its wrinkled or something, very awesome.

9/10, very nice, but like gecko said, text is a bit hard to read. might wanna try making "of the" its own layer and tweak the opacity slightly so it looks as clear as the rest of it. other than that, awesome.

Yeah, Nice theme LOTR. Love it. Looks as if you drew Legolas yourself, it looks like a very advanced signature, and i personally 9-10 you

Yeh, your right, the render does have a sort of "sketched" feel to it.

BigK, i might give that idea a try. But for the SOTW, i think i'll leave it like this.
