Okay were going to learn on how to make something like this:
Step 1. Open a new document width 400 and length 140 pixels.
Make the bg black and fg white.
Now make a new layer.
Start burshing with white on your black bg.

Okay bursh 1 layer with white.
Now select your move tool and move the layer to the right.
You should have something like this:
Now Step 2.
Go to Layer, New audjustment layer, then colour balance.
Now a window will come up now play around with the colours and find what you like.
I got this:
Step 3.
open new doc again with black bg, now start brushing with the jashins fractal pack.
Now use color balance find the colour u like.
Now you should have something like this:
Step 4.
Take your move tool and put it on your other bg it will turn into the same colour....put it ontop of the colour balance layer......and then make another colour balance layer and change colours.
I have this:
Step 5.
Render.
Open a render and then select the lasso tool and go around the render. the right click and select feather and put it to 10 pixel, then copy it, and paste it to your back ground and then put it Lumonistiy.
You should have something like this:
Step 6. Text
Pic a font and put your name or quote or w/e u want.
Then go to blending options.
go to bevel emboss, and make the size 1
then go to color overlay, make the color white
then go to stroke, set color black, size 2,
click ok.
you should have something like this:
Step 7.Border
Select lasso tool and then right click and click select all.
then move layer 3 up ontop of the text
then right click again and click stroke
and then if u dont want your render to blend in with your bg then right click layer 3 and click clear layer style.
Extra step.
If you want to add your render as a background fading away open your render again. select lasso tool and go over his face and then feather to 10 and then copy and paste to your sig and then put the opacity to 50
you should have something like this:
Step 8. YOUR DONE

Heh I actually did one like that without those steps. It just came out that way. Check it out.
I'm .Hack on some other forums by the way.
