Okay, I need some c&c on this. Its for a battle over at another board I post at. The theme was movies in 05 and well there wasn't very many good ones. Anyways feels like it is missing something...I need some help and figured if I was wanting someone to tell me what is wrong with my work this would be the place so go nuts.

Try Brushing a bit.. It looks like you just slaped on a pucture and added some text.

There have been tons of visually stunning movies this year.

add a thin border and adjust the colour to give a warmer feel to the image, apart from that it's ok.

yeah I didn't add a border because its not finished and didn't feel like screwing with it. I'll see about the color but I've already tried and thats about the color I like it, and is the most fitting for the background

Edit-Okay I added up another one. Made it a bit sharper it bit here and there. Took away a bit away from the left side to make the effect stand out a bit more..

The board is more into smudge brushing and see grunge as a whored style and the lowest of the low. So I'm looking for more ideas on effects then anything else..Any ideas?

It looks great. The text is well done and it has a nice effect. You should really consider making a tut or two, it would be tonnes popular as you're a great designer
