Your Techniques

Im just curious, I know Im not the best photoshoper. I would say im average. I would like to know if people would like give tips, or how you do sigs.

For example...

Well making background I like to stretch out pictures to give it color, and use color balance and use 2.0 gaussion blur with hard light with my renders.

no, that's actually a good tip.
don't expect to be super good after reading the next tips.
but don't use gaussian blur the way u did. it looks bad.

Heres a tip: Look at tutorials so you can get familar with photoshop or w/e you use, then do your OWN thing.

I dont understand...Everyone is saying do stuff your OWN way. Well Im pretty sure I do I mean... I like the stuff I make (I know its not the best, but its quality) and I take my time and yes, I do like try to find new stuff out once in awhile but mostly I just mess around with photoshop. I mean I do love photoshop also, I don't really like drawing but love photoshop, and I do hope to get better. I also want to start photograph.

Also MystiKal, I mean not to be mean but your stuff look like something everyone else does. Do you mean like...?...Get good at some type of sig, and keep doing it?

:huh: How aren't they good tips? By doing what i said, you can improve greatly and it will help you find a style you like. Worked for me

i don't really have techniques.. i just copy others :P

anyway, back on topic: i dont go for the trendwhore look, i just do what i feel like, even if its not that artistic. i think that counts as a tip....
