Ok, I just reformatted my computer like 4 times this month... it keeps happening
Like 2 days ago my computer would start loading Windows then just restart..
This morning (going by what my dad said) it wouldnt even start up (power?) and then it finally did but just kept restarting.
We just installed a new power supply (like a week ago, my old one broke) and a new SB Audigy 2 sound card...
Any suggestions of how to make it stop crashing??
And oh yeah, I only install like AIM, MSN, Firefox, and Mcafee when it gets back all the time... so its nothing im DLing
And dont tell me to buy a new comp, this one is only about a year old and im broke as hell

WOW, you answered all the things I was gonna suggest...(format, power supply, what are you installing?)....
That's pretty weird, usually, a good ol' format fixes everything.

Yeah... EVERYTHING is gone... AGAIN
and it still wont work good

have you considered the fact taht either your hard drive might be defective, your CPU is shot(for some strange reason), and that your new power supply might not be feeding either enough watts or not have enough power going through the 3v, 5v, and 12v rails?. if it isnt any of these, i got nothing.

Alright I added you Silenced.... ( aim )
and I dont think that is the problem kompakt, since it did it before the new power supply
EDIT: Oh and it crashed AGAIN today

I had that problem dude, it would do windows loading screen then just reboot, i just put windows disc in dirve and booted from the CD drive! it works fine now!
