Boxed Text Tutorial

Step 1

Create a new image and type the text you wish to add a 'pixel blur' to, like above.

Step 2

Rasterize your text. Duplicate your layer rasterized text layer (CTRL+J). Go into the mosaic filter and use the above effects on your new layer.

Final Product

I just dont get the overall thing. Like, how does it look different? Where would that be handy? In like, what kind of situation? I just dont see a specific use for that.

I think it can be used in tech like sigs. There are plenty of uses for it.

Signatures, sites. Many many uses. With futher modification, you could create a great looking high-tech signature. (as kick said).

Just something for people to mess around with =).
