Tribute Vector - WIP

I started making this about a month ago, I haven't worked on it since as I'm too busy with school, but I'm wondering what everyone thinks so far. It's a tribute to those serving in Iraq. Bear in mind that before I made that, I'd only made one other thing to do with graphics in the three months prior.

It's already taken over 100 layers in Illustrator and it's only a crappy helmet and M4.

Some crit would be nice, I'm aware the M4 isn't perfect and it was a bitch and a half to draw. Anyway, suggestions for any additions, what to use for a background (or to leave it white) and anything else would be nice.

Quite a few people have said I should add more camo to the helmet (which I will be doing when I can be bothered to start work on this again).

I think the strap needs more detail.. And where's the clip?

I don't think there should be a clip if it isn't in action, 'snot how it works.

It's a boot memorial to commermorate a dead comrade. It's pointless to keep the mag in a gun which won't be re-used (for the duration of the memorial at least).
