    i kinda got a problem, when i add the bulge it jsut goes flat and also, when i add both the matrix extrudes, i gota put the camera to parallel veiw cause if i zoom out to eiw it all then its jsut a complete perpective crazy mess and when i render, the really thin ribbony bits look half cut off at points and pixelated

    any way to sort any of these problems?

    Not sure, I came across no problems when making it.

    They are my special renders, can't even remember how I made them, I think I clicked something, was playing with effects and came out at that shape then I thought I could use it with nice material. It would look crap without that material.

    Everything looks bad without a material unless its my material, then it looks bad in general :P

    i really like this tut as you can tell from my sig now lmao i just didnt add the same material as you so i didnt get the same outcome

    Hmmm, im new here, and when i try to goto

    "Structure > edit surface..."


    there is no Edit Surface. its just, not there... it really wierd, ive never been able to do anything like this with my C4D because i have no "Edit Surface"

    can you help?
