please dont double post

advice imo i think you should use text that stands out more make it defult text like times new roman or arial narrow or arial black and add bits onto it to build the text up you could also make the boarer 1 pxl boarer and for begginer photoshop deisngers try to stick with one colour in ur whole sig prefrebly the colour of the render to make it match. my last bit of advice when using brushes use many different ones and make all ur bruhing in black and white only and then add colour after

I think he double posted by accident.

But anyway, I agree with Solid about the text. It doesn't fit with the whole theme of the signature. I don't always agree that beginners should only use one color. This one is quite nice and I like the BG but it's a bit too repetitive on the left side. Border is alright, might look better smaller, not too sure.
I suggest next time, when you're putting the text on, put it under the border layer, it looks better that way to me. Nice try though

Thanks for the input.

The original text that I used was default and the comments I recieved from the deviantart community was a negative so I changed it to this to sorta give a mysterious feel, but if you guys still think it looks shit I will have another shot at it. If you guys could provide me with more detail into how I could make the text look better would be helpful because the text is the part I have had the most trouble with.

With the detail around it, I didn't use any brush packs for that at all, purely what was in photoshop I.e. filters and improvisation. This was due to the computers at school do not allow us to add brush packs.

What do you mean?
So that the border streams right over the writing?

thanks again.

I think there's too many contrasting colors.

Yes you can, lose some contrast by removing that green, and replacing with another color. Or, use Image>Adjustments>Brightness and Contrast. It was constructive, you just didn't know what to do with it.
