As you guys can tell, I'm pretty new to the site. I've been threw the rest of the sub-forums and this is the best place I could find to ask this. If it's not, I apologize and hope it doesn't piss anyone off. Anyhow here goes...

Does everyone on this site make their own brushes? If so, do u make them out of anything? Or is there a special way to make good looking brushes? I haven't grasped the talent yet to be able to create my own brushes. I've been trying but none of them that I've come up with yet really catch me. I really like the ones Metal has been making, those are amazing.

    Anyhow, thanks for the time.

I'd suggest not to use downloaded brushes, and just use defaults.

there's no real reason. if you like using downloaded brushes, do. it doesn't make a lot of difference as long as you use them right.

I have made a few, but I am leaning towards using defaults and filters now. If you download lots of brushes its hard to keep track of your favorites.

Yeah, but for sigs it doesn't matter. It's just a sig, its not a whole piece of art.

if you want to make your own, follow tuts, there are no real ways to make brushes, you can do whatever you want to make them really.
