DONT USE OTHER PEOPLES BRUSHES, F5 is your mate my friend, use him alot, and just buggerize around, try cinema 4d and when u get good enough, try illustrator .

been there done that, ive used illustrator for about 2 years now, as for the cinema 4d, i used it a lot back in the day, im not a big fan of 3d render type tags. ill see if i can dig up a few of my c4d sigs tho...

as for Illustrator, i have only used it a little bit but there are a lot more tools to do vectors and more design based projects.
