    Hey, i just got Cinema 4D and was wondering how i save my renders so its just the render when i go to open it up in Photoshop and not the Black or White Background??

    go to.... render>render settings>format>targa

    I believe thats how it's done.

    Also don't forget to go to output and change it to like 1280x1024 or something.


    Hope this helps you some, if you have anymore questions just ask there are some really helpful members here with knowledge of C4D. Static helped me alot when I was just starting.

    i'm sorry i have a similiar question ( i think )

    i have a render in tga format
    how do i work from there to get a clear the black background

    open up in photoshop

    open up the channels window , ctrl click alpha layer and go to your layer pallete again and copy the selection to a new document
