great like usual, how long does it take you to do these things?

Thanks guys
@sythe - So far, I've put in about 8-9 hours total (I redid one or two parts).
I'll post another update later tonight, I've been working on the hand which seems to be the most complicated part, but its coming along.

Alrighty, small update here. The progress is pretty slow, but I'm done with school on wednesday, so I'll definitely finish it this week! Anyway, I've gotten up to the primary knuckles done (the part where the fingers meet the palm). I have to fix the knuckles a bit to make real movement actually possible. I'll do that tomorrow (it's late).
Here's a render focusing on the new stuff:
Here's the whole arm:
These are dark I know I like the new types of lighting I'm using, its more dramatic and realistic. Its also much darker, so because I'm only using one primary light here (don't have any other lights) the majority of it is in shadow. I know the renders are low quality, I'll turn the sampling up for later renders. So, thoughts? comments? concerns?

WOOO UPDATE!
Alright I had sometime and I decided to start this back up and finish it. So I'll be working and posting updates over the next few days. Here is where I'm currently at. I adjusted a few porportions and I have the majority of the fingers done (need to do the finger tips). After that I have the thumb to do, then I'll be finished with the model! Here are a couple views of the overall arm and a close up of the new section.
Thoughts about the new section and/or the overall model?
