Well guys, this time it's true, one of the most amazing guys on television has died today, September 4th 2006, after a horrible freak accident.

    Here's the full story

This is what went through his chest...

I'm sort of hoping to see the actual footage of him getting hit by the barb, but I don't know if that would be allowed to be shown on National Television.

Discuss, weep, and remember such an amazing man.

    Thank you,
    nyhl

I was extremely shocked and saddened when I saw this on the news today when I came back from school. It was just such a suprise, never would of expected such a thing to happen.

I feel deeply for him and his family, especially his wife and his two young children. No child should have to experience something as tragic as this.

    Blimey, that sucks.

I saw it last night on google news, and just to make sure it wasn't fake, I checked on CNN and BBC.

He was cool at first, but got on my nerves after a while. He was still a cool guy overall in his career (considering what he did).

I was looking for some footage too; I hope they release it. I think it's up to his family whether they want to or not.

I just saw his "Steve's Story" episode that originally aired back in 2000 on Animal Planet.
The ending quote he said was "If there was one thing I'd like to be remembered for, it'd be Passion for animals, and a conservationist."
I can seriously say I broke down in tears.
