    Default Lunar Dawn

Hi, been away for a while.
I have just got Terragen today, so I am trying to figure out something and experimenting some stuff..I must admit that it is a very interesting program!
Well, this is my very first work with Terragen, so go easy on me =) I did some post work on PhotoShop to add some depth and colour, but the render is untouched.
If you care to post some comments, tips, advices or whatever i'd be very happy, I'm trying to learn it as it goes but if you have some tips i'd be very thankfully!
    Thanks in advance!

Try to do less in Photoshop. It's too obvious there was a lot of post-processing.

Kelso - To me it doesn't look like he did all that much in photoshop :P And there's nothing wrong with post-work. I've turned many extremely crappy raw 3d renders and made them look much nicer after post-work. For example, this is from about a year ago:
    http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/508/temp2jj3.jpg - hideous isn't it?

And after some work in photoshop, I turned it into this:
    http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/5541/temp3ak8.jpg

Obviously I've improved a little since then haha. I know you know how important post-work is, I just wanted to say that

Showtime - It's alright for your first. It looks like most people's first. It's a bit bland and the area that you've rendered looks uninteresting. It all just takes practice though, so keep it up. And don't be afraid to do some post-work!

    Thanks for the comments/advices!
When i'll be back home i'll post also the original render, so you can get what i've done with PS, just did some adjustments by the way, nothing really special.
I'll keep working on and posting something new.
EDITED: here is the original render.

Yea. Most of my terragen renders are pretty average. Good post work improves the atmosphere and overall feel of the piece

    I like lighting and depth
but the edges are a tad too jagged
