[Firefox]Help

Hi, i'm using firefox (latest version) and i have troubles seeing GIF animations.
I don't see them at all, it appears the first photogram of the animation but it doesn't start, it just look freezed at the first step and won't start.
Do you wonder why that happens?(already checked into about:config menu about animations...)

That's never happened to me when I use firefox (latest version).

I think it's windows xp fault because i also tried with IE and Opera and GIF won't start.
Know something into windows settings that might messed up that?

Maybe the setings for your connection is set so that you dont see things like gifs. There is a button you can click to turn it off so you don't see anything... it's for people who have a slow internet connection!

Do you have any extensions in Firefox? Did you make sure that you installed the required plugins: Flash, Java?

That does point in the direction of it being a system wide setting that affects all browsers. Do you have ZoneAlarm installed by any chance? What about some other firewall program? ZoneAlarm has an option to block animated images as part of its ad-blocking settings. Might try looking into that.
