Get a Mac, they run sooo much smoother than Windows. I've had 3 windows computer, they all glitch up like shit.

    MacOSX > any PC OS

PC's have more applications though... but hey, most those major apps (like PS, and Adobe stuff) is cross-platform-compatible, so you don't have to buy new software.

lack of games if you get a mac tho... and i personaly dislike them... and they are far less customisiable and are also far harder to upgrade.

lol depends on your budget... by a £4000 PC and it will run as smoothly as any mac XD... plus i know a m8 who has a ibook (or whatever the laptops are called)... and its slow as hell... and programs keep on just closing down randomly... i also dislike the whole one mouse button thing... i mean how is that better than haveing 2 buttons and a scrole wheel?

Like NYHL said.....if you plan on using this thing for more than PS or music affiliated purposes stick with a pc....But believe or not you can use Microsoft or most pc apps using Virtual PC 2007 that can be found on the M$ site

MS Virtual PC 2007 is pretty good. I actually use it to install Linux virtual servers on my workstation. Not for anything really demanding... just for when I'm testing things out for the web server and don't want to first test on the development server. I suppose I can call the Virtual PC installs my guinea pig servers...
