More than likely the button for opening your CD tray, or the spring, got botched up. They're generally cheaply made, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the problem.

You might check to make sure that all cables are connected properly. Also consider fully updating your virus scanner and scanning the system from within safe mode.

If the computer is new it might be best to let warranty support take care of it so you do not void the warranty by doing the wrong thing.
