Joker Sig Request

Did a sig per request.
Didn't finish it and not sure if I will yet.

Person who requested undecided on what he wants, so I chose one of his interests and kinda went with it.

He hasn't decided if he'd prefer anything else yet.

Here's three unfinished versions:







Anyone have any ideas on what I could have done better, or could do to the sig?

I know the textures on the right are a bit lacking >.<

I can't really see anything wrong with that. But then again, I'm new so I can't pick out fine-detail parts that could be corrected.

Although, I'd like to request a tutorial on how you made it, if that's not too much trouble.

Hmm, well I basically used about 10 layers of duplicated render and a 400&#37; scatter on a <15px brush to smudge.

About 3 or 4 layers to blend in the main render.

Then added a few splatters with clipping masks, and minimal scan lines with some vectors I drew in.

Throughout I used different photo filters to get different colours on each.

Mainly above the background layers, and then above the whole sig.

It's a very simple sig, and it's pretty easy to see how it's done once you get familiar with the tools.

Would love any more feedback about them though from anyone.

I'm really trying to improve my skills.
