Agreed. Text wise also i think you should read my text basics tut. Stick to default fonts they will work with your sig 99% of the time more than any other font.

You'd BG is okay but i think your render needs a bit of blending. You could try some smduging or some clipping masks, or c4d's they are probabaly the best blending options.
