And yes, my moyher and I live in peru, south america, and we both speak english, spanish and german. we have a kind of culture-language-race mix.

The design is way dated. Web 2.0 just doesn't cut it as a painter's website. Think about her paintings then try to design with her themes in mind.

hmmm true, i first made a design with no structure and without this web 2.0 looking style.. after a while, i realised that having a structured web 2.0 or not web 2.0 website would make this a lot easier though..

and, even though i get what you're saying, because it's really true, in this case my mother loved this design.. so yeah, i guess it'll stay that way.

don't get me wrong, i really appreciate your feedback!
