Im not a fan. The render isn't blended at all, and though it is a manip you can still add SOME effects to it. Also the lighting for the castle thing is different for the render, as made apperant by his hair.
Needs more work, try and pay more attention to detail.
Also the render and the background are completely different style. The render is like vectorish while the background is more real, which doesn't work for me.
