Well this is my third ever signature in photoshop, I did a bit it GIMP before but not much.

effects arent good.
text is too distracting. render is covered by many things. border is ugly

Nyxar don't just put bad comments.

The boarder isn't that bad but it's better to go without or try a cinema border in black usually.

If you uncover the render a bit more it would look alot better but you're going good for a beginner try looking at some tutorials i recommend Daemon's smudge one and just take a look about them see if you find a style you like.

I agree with skate. Nyxar it's great your commenting and giving the OP crits, but you have to help them fix it or make it better. Give them a few tips.

The first thing i notice is that there are a bunch of ghosting artifacts that are hovering overtop of the render. You want to try and steer away from that, while it's nice to have them overlap a bit for blending, you don't want them covering the middle of the face, thats just distracting.

BG isn't bad, However i reccomend you blur some of the edge and parts of the middle for depth.

Pretty nice blending i must say, and you used that fractal well.
The border:
Try and use solid colors like black and white, they blend better than others and tend to draw your eyes away from the focal less. Now also i see you made it part transperant, you don't want to do that. the point of a border is ot seperate the sig from the forum so by makeing it semi-transperant you are rendering it useless, and only drawing away from the focal (the man).
Long story short^^ don't make your Borders transperangt and use black and white.

GOOD TEXT! NOw the color is a bit bright, however it's very encouraging seeing you using default fonts. Stick with that use default fonts they blend better than any downlaoded font you will find 90% of the time. Just next time try to make the color less bright and distracting.

Overall not bad, however i reccomend you take some tutorials to pick up some fo the basics and good techniques.

well that blue stuff all over the focal kinda distracted me at first and made me think it was something else but then I looked closer. Thats all I have to contribute, other than that it's pretty cool, but kinda mediocre.
