Photomanips
Loooooong time since i did my last photomanip so if these are not so good don't blame me
Comms if u like them ><
And yes i know that the first one is overtopazed, i like it that way
-
More negative space around the hands would make the second one ALOT better to look at.
As for the first ( and also the second ) , text should be subtle and unobtrusive, unless it plays a role in the image as a focal point. And even then it should fit the theme of the graphic itself.

First one is way over topazed you are correct.
First one the flames are cool but the hand is poorly cut out.
The text is really obtrussive too i agree with dale.
Not only do i think you need more negaitve space in the second, youshould also get rid of the celestial looking things around the hands, make it litterally just the hands and the erath, and drop the text because it is attracting way too much away from the focal.
@dale: lol i missed your crits a lot, glad your posting again

Ok so i folowed your advice and droped the text on both, droped the celestial stuff on the second and reduced the topaz on the first one.
Hope this time is better

Getting there
Are you familiar with masking?
You could place the Earth stock under the thumbs, then it would really look like it is in the hands (only needs to go under a little )
Much better though
-
Newer thought of that
Ill try it and post if is any better
Thx for the advice.
