Hey, well i got my new camera Canon EOS 450D and i love it, well then the day i bought it i went home really looking forward to try it out and then the stupid slow ass battery charger took forever to charge and finaly 2 hours later im ready to shoot some tryout shots and wtf i realized i forgot to buy a f***ing memorycard. Got it yeasterday and today i was ready to go try it outside and when i finaly got to the place i wanted to shoot at then again WTF it started to rain exactly when i got the camera ready. so i went home again and just took some snapshots of my friend at home here is one of them:

Looks like a younger version of this guy I used to know, even that creepy sex offender pose looks similar, Haha. Anyway, High quality and nice detail. Must be a good camera.

the eyes are over sharpened and over contrasted. IMO you went a bit overboard with the Post processing and the on camera flash didn't help you with that one much.

next time be more subtle about your post processing and use a bounce card to counce your flash if you have to. Take a white note card and simply hold it infront of the flash at about a 40 degree angle and then shoot, that way you dont get such flat lighting. There's more professional ways to do it but thats a nice DIY.
