Personal logo inspiration discussion

Hello people.
I'd like to receive some further comments/suggestion in any modifications on the following logo. It's for my own web design mini "bussiness".

I like the fonts verypro looking
the square. i don't get it. Are you trying to say your artsy by havign weird compositions like that? Just don't like the square my suggestion would be to have it be aroudn the art or around the design instead of just at the top.

Art & Design doesnt apply at the accurate meaning of the words.
I like simplicity in designs, just something that will be clean.
The square was made to give a point of attention to the logo.

maybe so, however the square draws attention not to the logo but to the top right side, where it is hard to read on account of the square in the first place, hence why i suggested you change it.

In addition i would like some practical solutions into avoiding "pixelized" fonts.
The current font is named Giovanni with Anti-alias smooth, I've used the other anti-alias options with worse effect.

I thinkt hat looks less distracting, but it still doesn't look perfect and honestly i don't know what is bothering me about it, but your update looks very nice.

The font looks great! i really like it. Just maybe next time space them out a tiny bit more.

i think it would look better if you could remove the drop shadow on "art". not sure how you would go about it though =/. maybe soften the drop shadow underneath the orange square too.

In my opinion maybe a gloss effect on text? Or 3piece gradient?

if you are going to print it like that remove the shadowing, it wont look good on cards. Also center it maybe, and use a darker tone of yellow for prints.
